The Performing Arts A-Level students of Palma College are putting on a show called ‘Spotlight’ on Thursday, March 13th, at Palma’s Anglican Church Coleman Hall. Doors open at 7pm; the show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are just 5€ and you can get yours from Palma College (phone 971 724 083).
Here’s advance notice of a fantastic fundraising event on Friday, April 11th, for local cancer charities, the Cancer Support Group Mallorca and Un Lazo en Movimento. ‘Table for 100’ this year takes place at the lovely rural finca Las Esencias de ses Rotes in Esporles valley and includes five-course dinner, prepared by chef Jeff Harter and Marc Fosh catering, raffle, auction and dancing, with live music from Arron Reece. This year’s event has a 1920s theme, so think The Great Gatsby and you won’t go wrong! Fancy yourself as a stand-up comic? Logan Murray returns to Mallorca this month to present his popular weekend stand-up comedy workshop. It’s at Onda Vital in Palma, starting Friday 21st March at 4pm and ending on Sunday 23rd – with a live stand-up performance at Sa Botiga de Buffons in Palma.
