Quirónsalud Marbella reaffirms its commitment with healthcare with the opening of three new floors in the Singlehome building
- Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital becomes the first medical centre of the hospital group in Andalusia to eliminate reception desks and create personalised patient care areas
Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital has reaffirmed its commitment with the healthcare of its patients and visitors with the opening of three new floors in the Singlehome building. The new openings in these facilities have added 6,500 square metres of areas across the three floors, which have been designed to provide the highest level of healthcare. The architectural design of each floor has been planned to prioritise the optimisation of patient-dedicated spaces. The carefully laid out areas create large rooms with large windows allowing a constant flow of natural light.
Comfort, technology and functionality are the characteristics of the new facilities where special emphasis has been made on the implementation of a new system for the management and reception of patients. In this regard, Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital has become the first centre of the hospital group in Andalusia to instal the health management station. “This concept is based on the creation of a personalised patient area without the architectural barrier imposed by reception desks, offering our patients a friendly and warm space that helps humanise the admission process and promotes personalised reception”, explains Doctor Miguel Ángel Ramírez, the Medical Director of our Marbella hospital.
Doctor Ramírez highlights the active role the hospital assumes in advising and guiding patients since “with this assistance model, health managers can assist patients in a dynamic manner providing guidance and useful advice to help the patient make decisions”.
During this new stage, Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital has implemented the Scribe project, an innovative initiative of the Quirónsalud hospital group that places the doctor-patient relationship as the central element of the visit, promoting direct communication with the patient. With the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence, the conversations between the physician and the patient are transcribed and interpreted. Scribe identifies the key elements in order to complete the medical history, filtering out all the irrelevant or medically-unrelated information. This is a powerful tool available to doctors and patients to speed up and personalise the medical consultation, optimising time and improving the experience.
And lastly, with the purpose of ensuring adequate navigation within the building, the visitor circuit is repeated on every floor so that patients and visitors can immediately familiarise themselves with the new space layout. The Singlehome building is strategically situated, at the beach front, providing a differential feature that works in the benefit of patients. The consultation rooms are equipped with large windows articulated on the perimeters of each floor in order to offer users bright and relaxing areas in line with the most demanding quality standards. This design consolidates the healthcare model promoted by Quirónsalud that focuses on the optimisation of the processes, paying utmost attention to patients’ private time, wellbeing and healthcare.
The opening of the three new floors in the Singlehome building is the culmination of the transformation of this iconic office building into the strategic centre for outpatient consultations of the Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital. In fact, the move to the new building implies the end of operations in three peripheral buildings situated near the hospital: The Quirónsalud Marbella Ophthalmology Centre, Quirónsalud Marbella Medical Centre and Quirónsalud Guadalete Medical Centre. All the specialities being treated in these buildings have been transferred and, in some cases, their capacity has even been expanded in the new Singlehome space.
